Samagra Shiksha – AP – Quality initiatives – STEM Labs - to Depute two Teachers from each district to train as STEM Lab Resource persons – Certain Instructions -issued
The District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators are informed that the NIRMAAN, a non-profit organization working in the areas of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Health & Well-Being, and Rural & Community Development, has proposed to strengthen Digital Learning Infrastructure and STEM Education in alignment with the objectives of Samagra Shiksha in Andhra Pradesh. The organization has requested: 1. Support towards strengthening Digital Lab and STEM Lab infrastructure. 2. Permission to conduct training programs for STEM Lab Instructors. In this connection, the STEM Lab equipment has already been supplied to 222 PM SHRI schools under PM SHRI Scheme Phase-I & II. Innovative kits
explaining various concepts in Physics, Mathematics and Electronics were identified by subject expert teachers and provided to schools as part of the STEM Lab setup. However, effective utilization of the STEM Lab resources requires proper pedagogical understanding. There is a need to train teachers on:
