It is informed to all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers, and all the Management of Private Unaided Schools in the state that, The implementation of Physical Literacy, Yoga, Health Education, Mass Drill, Sports and Games in all Private Unaided Schools in the State for Classes I to X aims to ensure the holistic development of students by promoting physical f itness, mental well-being, discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits. This initiative seeks to inculcate lifelong physical activity skills, enhance concentration and emotional balance, prevent lifestyle-related health issues, and nurture sportsmanship and leadership qualities among students, thereby supporting their overall academic and personal growth. In order to ensure uniform implementation of Physical Education activities in all Private Schools, in line with the Physical Literacy framework adopted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the following instructions are hereby issued for strict compliance by all Private Unaided School Managements. I. Mandatory Implementation: 1. Physical Education activities shall be implemented compulsorily in all Private Schools from Classes I to X. 2. Six (6) periods per week per class shall be allotted exclusively for Physical Education and related activities. 3. A minimum of one hour of physical
activity per day shall be ensured for every student by integrating Physical Literacy into the regular timetable. II. General Instructions (Classes I to X): 1. Meditation: Ten (10) minutes
