Instructions to the headmasters through DEOs in 10 LIP districts for effective implementation of LIP during the current academic year of 2024-25.

LIP implementation for the current academic year of 2024-25. The LIP need to be implemented effectively with a focused monitoring during the current academic year of 2024-25 to achieve the expected learning outcomes for the children of classes 6th, 7th and 8th in all Upper Primary and High Schools in the 10 LIP districts.  2. Observations of district and state level teams on the implementation of LIP during last academic year of 2023-24 in 10 districts  • All the teachers in the schools have conducted baseline test and started implementation of LIP in the five subject areas of Telugu, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. • The observations reveals that there is poor monitoring from the headmasters / principals on the implementation of LIP strategies in the classrooms.  • The baseline test results are not correct in most of the schools. The figures are inflated as observed by the observers. • Only in few schools the lesson plans as per LIP have been noticed. The heterogeneous group formation is not proper in most of the schools. The focus is more on teaching period rather than practice period.  • The teacher handbooks provided to the teachers, headmasters and MEOs have not read by majority of the headmasters and teachers. • The monthly staff meetings by the headmaster to discuss the implementation of LIP strategies in the classrooms, children progress over baseline and recording the minutes of the meeting has not been seen in many schools. • The expected LIP outcomes will be achieved only when the program is implemented effectively in the classrooms and the headmaster must ensure it with classroom observations and








 discussing children progress in the staff meetings. Ultimately the change in teaching learning process as per LIP strategies and effective monitoring of HM / Principal alone can improve the children performance.
