State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha has reviewed on the following issues. 1. Distribution of Student Kits 2. Implementation of Mid-Day Meals 3. Samagra Activities under various wings of Samagra Shiksha. Participants : Additional State Project Director, Director SIEMAT, Additional Director SAMO, Secretary KGBV, RJDSEs, DEOs, APCs and all the Sectorial officers of wings concerned from AP Samagra Shiksha. 1. Distribution of Student Kits: Item wise supply status and distribution of Student kits was reviewed with all the APCs, DEOs of all the 26 districts and the following instructions were issued. a. APCs to release budget towards transportation and packaging charges to MEOs without delay. b. Ensure no HM or school teacher is required to collect student kit materials from stock points. c. Identify and adjust mismatched shoe quantities with neighboring schools/mandals and communicate the net requirement to the State Office. d. Utilize current balance stock or previous year's shoes for mismatched quantities. e. Return defective bags and mismatch shoes to the respective vendors. f. Implement regular physical monitoring of schools. g. Ensure that all the items of the Student Kit are utilized by the students 100%. h. Sensitise the students regarding proper usage of bags and shoes as per the guidelines issued by this office from time to time. Action: All DEOs and APCs 2. Implementation of Mid-Day Meals: i. Ensure compliance with the MDM scheme guidelines to prevent adverse news. ii. Regular hygiene monitoring and ensure the use of uncontaminated water for cooking. iii. Update school menu displays to "Mid-Day Meal". iv.Daily monitoring and updating of IMMS APP modules. v. Conduct regular inspections for compliance with attendance and stock maintenance. vi.Implement and maintain kitchen gardens as per guidelines. vii.Follow through with the Thiti Bojan procedures already communicated. viii.Expedite the
submission of pending food grain bills from all districts. ix.Follow up on pending egg and chikki bills from the specified districts. x. Confirm and process of MDM and TMF bills for April and June 2024
