School Education - SCERT , AP - Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2022-23 - India’s Largest Science Talent Search Examination for New India using Digital Devices
The attention of the District Educational ofcers in the state is invited to the reference read above, Vigyan Prasar, a national institute for science and technology communication established under Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, in association with National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Vijnana Bharati, a non for profit organiaation led by eminent scientists, is conducting the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (India’s Largest Science Talent Search Exam for New India using Digital Devices) for classes 6th to 11th. 2. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a National level, unique, app based, science talent search examination that is conducted online. The registered students will be allowed to take exam from his/her own device, namely, a smart phone (mobile), laptop or desktop from his/her home. Exam will be conducted on windows and android platforms ONLY. First level examination will be conducted on 27 November, 2022 and 30 December,2022. Timing of the examination will be the same all over India. 3. The Highlights of VVM 2022-2023 are: o Open Book Exam to be attempted from Home/School. o Introducing questions based on analytical skills, knowledge and critical thinking. o Registered students will get an opportunity to participate in Mega Science Experiment to get to know about the nutritional value and environmental impact of our food habits. o Bhaskara scholarship of Rs. 2000/- per month for
Himalayans. o Extensive Training cum Internship of 1 to 3 weeks for National Level Winners (Himalayans and Zonal). o Option to choose anyone regional language from 10 main languages other than Hindi and English at First Level. o Registration closes on 30 th September, 2022. o Student can register as an individual student or can register through school. (If registered from school service charge of ₹30/- per student can be retained
