: - School Education - SCERT, AP – Mentoring workshop for nationally selected students of INSPIRE-MANAK from A.P at IIT Hyderabad –Participation of selected students along with their guide teacher/parent – certain instructions issued
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District
Educational Ofcers in the State are informed that NIF, India proposed to
conduct a mentoring workshop on May 12th -13th at IIT Hyderabad, for the state-
level awardees of the Andhra Pradesh State (total of 34 students) under the
INSPIRE Awards-MANAK scheme.
2. Further, the students will get the opportunity to discuss their projects with
the experts for further improvements in the prototype and learn design skills
from them. The improved prototypes will be showcased in the National Level
Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC).
3. They are also informed that the students shall accompany the guiding
teacher or parent (mother in case of girl students). Only one person is allowed
along with the student. The students must produce original travel tickets not
beyond the 3rd AC or AC bus. The accommodation and travel expenses will be
borne by NIF as per rules.
4. Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the
District Educational Ofcers in the State are requested to issue necessary
instructions to all the District Science Ofcers to direct all the national selected
students to make travel arrangements to enable them to reach IIT Hyderabad
well in advance to participate in the said workshop.
