discussions, competitions and to take NVD Pledge- Instructions

The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education

and District Educational Officers and Principals of IASEs/ CTE and DIETs in

the State are informed that, the Chief Electoral Officer & EO SO. Chief

Secretary, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has informed that the Election

Commission of India celebrates 25th January, its Foundation Day, as the

National Voters' Day every year. In the ref.2nd cited, the Election

Commission, Gol declared that this year the theme of the NVD

celebrations is "Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible and

Participative" and requested to organize events like debates,

discussions competitions at schools, Educational Institutions on an Online

mode as per appropriate Covid guidelines/ protocols in place and to take

NVD Pledge on 25-01-2022 at 11.00 at schools / Educational Institutions

and upload the photographs of event/pledge taking ceremony using

hashtag #NVD2022. The Copies of the references along the pledge are

herewith enclosed.

Therefore, they are requested to issue necessary instructions to all

HMs of Management Schools/ Teacher Education Institutions in their

respective jurisdictions to organize events like debate, discussions,

competitions (drawing, skit, song, painting, essay etc.), on the sidelines of

NVD celebrations on the above mentioned theme. The said events may be

organized via an Online mode as per appropriate Covid guidelines/

protocols in place.

Further they are also requested to take the NVD pledge, following

appropriate Covid norms, at around 11:00 AM or at any suitable

time during the day, on 25'h January, 2022 at the Schools Teacher

Education Institutions in the State. The photographs of event/pledge

taking ceremony should be uploaded using hashtag #NVD2022, on their

respective social media handles and website without fail.
