It is informed that all the District Educational Ofcers & Ex - Ofcio

Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra

Shiksha in the state are hereby instructed to issue suitable directions to all

the Schools(secondary level) of their respective districts for the formation

of science and maths clubs in secondary Schools.

a. Stimulate a spirit of curiosity, enquiry, innovation and creativity

amongst students/children.

b. Motivate children and youth to take up scientifc activities and

contribute towards the cherished goals of achieving a scientifc

society.

c. To transform teachers as a facilitator and change agent.

d. To encourage learners.

e. Promote and support participants to interpret their learning

experiences.

f. Develop through partnerships with appropriate expert(s)/ agencies

and wherever possible to develop ideas that are relevant for the

local community.

The budget for the formation of science and math clubs is herewith

shown for information and necessary action.
