Conduct of FIT India Quiz for schools under FIT India Movement – revised orders / instructions

All the District Educational Ofcers and Headmasters in the state are

informed that, Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy

in the reference has issued certain instructions to the state to conduct the FIT

India Quiz for Schools under FIT India Movement in all schools in the month of

September 1st, 2021.

2. The objective of the quiz is to provide a national platform for students to

showcase their knowledge about ftness and sports, also endeavors in its

philosophy to create awareness among students about India's rich sporting

history.

3. The quiz will also be frst-ever ftness and sports quiz to be telecast on India's

one of the largest sport television channels like Star Sports as well as on National

TV channel. The student who makes it to the national round as representatives of

their school, will therefore get a chance to showcase their talent before nation.

Hence, the quiz is the frst National level Quiz for students which will give out

total cash award of Rs.3.25 Crores to school and students.

4. Further, the conduct of quiz programme with four rounds of quiz as follows:

1. School Round: To be conducted by the school to register the

school students for the preliminary round. The registration fees will

be Rs.250 per students and will be paid by the school at the time of

registration. The registration fees shall be applicable for each

student and the school shall make the total payment depending on

the number of students registered.

2. Preliminary Round: To be multiple choice round conducted by the

National Testing agency (India's premiere examination body that

conducts national level exams such as JEE & NEET). The Country

wide quiz will be organized in 13 languages for beneft of students

studying in the regional medium schools.

3. State round: To be conducted by each state /UTs with the support

from FIT India Mission amongst schools qualifed after preliminary

round. The detailed process of qualifcation of the school is

described in annexure. This round will anchored by a professional

quiz master and will be webcast on social media.
