OSC Activities – NCPCR - Standard Operating procedures (SOP) for care and Protection of Children in Street situations – Instructions – Issued
The attention of all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project
Coordinators / Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are
invited to the references read above, that the Government have forwarded letter of
the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), New Delhi together
with its enclosures (Annexure – 1 & Annexure – 2) vide reference 3rd cited and
requested to take necessary action on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for
Care and Protection of Children in Street situations furnished by the NCPCR, GoI.
Further, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR),
New Delhi has requested to circulate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to
all concerned in the State for their reference and implementation.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project
Coordinators / Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State are
requested to create awareness to all the MEOs / Headmasters / Teachers / CRPs /
IERP (Inclusive Education Resource Person) / Part Time Instructors (PTI) / Village
Education Welfare Assistants / on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Care
and Protection of Children in Street Situations as per the SOP instructions by the
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), New Delhi. The SOP
instructions are hereby enclosed along with the proceedings.
Further, they are requested to conduct campaign from 04.03.2021 to
06.03.2021 and identify the street children and enroll them in regular School and if
any deprived category children identified such as Orphans, Semi-Orphans, CWAP,
Beggars, Street Children, Rag Pickers, children of HIV affected, children of sex
