EducationalOfficers in the State are hereby inform ed that prlntlng and supply of

text books forthe academ ic year2020-21 has been com pleted and supplied to alI

the districtpoints w ith 5% excess books than the given indent.Accordingly,aIlthe

DistrictTextBook Managers have supplied the textbooks upto Mandalpoints with

properacknowledgment.

2. However,during the field visits ofofficials,itis observed that som e titles of

text books are not distributed to the students ofsom e classes.O n verification of

field reports, it is observed that som e titles of text books not available with

students because ofincreased enrolm entthan the indent,change ofm edium TM to

EM vis-a-vis, closure of private schools and inter change of students from one

schooltoanotherschoolafterdistribution oftextbooksattheirrespectiveschools.

3. In view ofthe above,the Director,Text Books Press have reviewed the total

supply oftext books with aîIDistrict Managers and it is found that20,56,434 text

books are available forClass 1to VIth and 14,69,120 textbooks are available for

V1I to Xth and 35,25,554 total books are available for Class I to Xth at their

respective districtgodowns as annexed below.
