: SCERT, A.P – Centre for Creative Learning, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar and Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE)– launching of 3030 STEM Programme–
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited
to the reference cited, and they are informed that in accordance with NEP 2020
(multidisciplinary approach, foundational literacy, experiential learning), CCL IIT
Gandhinagar and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) started the
program called 30-30 STEM in the last year. The Program is recommended by
the Ministry of Education for all teachers and students and was launched by the
Union Minister himself.
It is useful for all teachers regardless of subject as it talks about the
subject as well as the pedagogy (how to teach). The overall goal is to develop
critical thinking, conceptual understanding and foster out-of-the-box thinking.
The first season was watched by over 80 lakh teachers and students
from across the country. In the second season, we need to make sure every
teacher and student takes advantage of this commendable program.
Season-1 covered numerous science and math topics in an
interesting way and was widely appreciated by all the viewers. Each episode
was followed by an assignment based on the topics cornered. The participants
were given certificates by CCL IITGN for completing the assignments.
Those who have missed Season 1 can still view the sessions online and
try the assignments.
All the teachers are instructed to compulsorily watch Season 2 and
also submit homework’s. Certificate for this season will also be given from IIT
Gandhinagar.
