Orientation Programmes for the Key Functionaries of States for Strengthening Vocational Education In Schools from 14.12.2020 to 18.12.2020-orders

It is submitted that The PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education

(PSSCIVE is an national apex research and development organization in the field

of vocational education in the country. It is a constituent unit of National Council

of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under Ministry of Education, Govt.

of India.

The Institute has a picturesque Dacre campus at Shyamla Hills in Bhopal

with the State-of-Art facilities. The Institute is also the UNEVOC Network Centre

in India for the UNESCO's International Project on Technical and Vocational

Education and Training. As you are aware, we are developing learning outcome

based curricula and textbooks for the vocational subjects offered from Classes IX

to XII under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) in the country.

One of the main activity of the institute is to orient the State Project

Coordinators/ Additional State Project Coordinators/ Ofher Officers in the State/

District level and the Principals of Schools where vocational courses are

introduced on the latest development and of the important aspects of vocational

education and training.

Every year, the institute organises orientation programmes

for key functionaries of states in contact mode. But, this year, due to COVID-19

pandemic. the Institute is organising the programmes on virtual mode through

G-Suite. Through the G-suit software, 250 participants cont offend the

programme at a lime. Looking to the number of registration capacity of the

software.

In this context The PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education has

requested to depute the key functionaries, principals and other officials of our

state who are engaged In vocational education for these programmes i.e 10

participants from all

Managements(GOVT,ZPP,KGBV,MUNCIPAL,AIDED,SW,TW,APREIS AND APMS).

web-link will be provided for the programme to all the deputed

participants. And participants will be awarded with the certificate of participation

after the receipt of the assignment and pre-test/post-test along with feedback of

the programme through on-line.
