Contract Services in Government Departments Extension of the contractual services up to 31.03.2021 Orders

In continuation of the orders issued in the reference 19th read above,

orders were issued vide reference 21st read above, permitting all Departments to

renew the contractual services exclusively, that were subsisting on 30th June,

2020 for another two months i.e., from 1st July, 2020 to 31st August, 2020 or

an earlier period, as deemed appropriate, based on the imperative need for such

services by the Departments, subjected that the terms and conditions of the

contract shall remain unchanged for the contractual services.

Accordingly, the Heads of Departments-Secretariat and the Departmenta

Heads and the District Collectors were authorized to extend the contractua

services that were subsisting on 30h June, 2020 for another two months i.e.

from 1st July, 2020 to 31st August, 2020 at the State and Districts respectively

provided competent authority has undertaken a review of the need for such

services. The Departments/HoDs are advised to come up with proper justificatior

for further continuation beyond August, 2020 in the Proforma (to be circulated).
