Nadu Nedu-Execution of works- Procurement of Cement-Instructions-Issued

Government has directed to continue execution of Nadu Nedu

works and to accelerate the progress, duly maintaining the social distance

and other precautionary measures to contain and control COVID 19. The

Government have also instructed the Mineral Development Corporation to

resume the supply of sand to Nadu Nedu works and instructed the State

administration to take necessary steps in allowing the supply of materials

like, cement, steel and all other construction materials.

2. In obedience to the instructions of the Government and in light of

the prevailing circumstances and to ensure completion of the Nadu Nedu

phase-I works before the next Academic year, the following instructions in

execution of the works are being issued.

a. The DEOs with approval of the District Collectors shall ensure hard

ware, electrical shops, sanitary shops are opened in specified time &

days for procurement of required material like Steel, Electrical

materials (except fans), Sanitary materials (Other than water

closets, wash Basins, urinals ) etc., for Nadu Nedu works.

b. The Collectors will in turn instruct all police stations and police

officials to allow the workers of Nadu Nedu schools to work and

trucks/tractors/vans for the transportation of materials to be used

for Nadu Nedu schools including sand being supplied by APMDC

during the lock down period.
