N.T. Books for the year 2020-21 – Certain instructions and Guidelines

All the District Educational Officers and Managers of the Text Books Depots in

the State are informed that transportation of National Text Books from District point

to Mandal point and Mandal point to School points, and the distribution of

Nationalized Text Books to the students shall be completed well in advance for the

year 2020-21.

In this regards, it is informed that the transportation of N.T.Books-2020-21 is

entrusted to APSRTC logistics in all 13 Districts up to Mandal points. The

transportation charges from District point to Mandal point is fixed @ 0.65 paise per

book includes GST, all loading, unloading and hamali charges.

Further, it is informed that, from mandal point to school point, the

transportations charges will be provided to the concerned Head Master’s account

directly.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are informed to

approach RMs/DMs of the APSRTC concerned Districts to take individual agreement

in a stamp paper by drawing the following terms and conditions with APSRTC prior to

start the distribution and shall draw the schedule for transporting of Text Books from

District to Mandal Points duly communicating the schedule to the Commissioner of

school Education, Ibrahimapatnam, Amaravati Andhra Pradesh and Director, AP,

Government Text Books Press, Guntur.

Suggested terms and conditions:

• APSRTC is responsible for safe transportation of Government Text Books from

District Point to all Mandal Points in all 13 Districts in A.P.

• The rate agreed for transportation is inclusive of GST, loading and unloading

charges at each level as per the amount quoted for transportation of text

books from District Godown to each Mandal Resource Center.
