National De – Worming Day scheduled on 10/02/2020

reference read above and they are informed that, the Government of India have

directed to conduct Bi Annual De-worming day and it is decided to conduct

National De-worming Day on 10/02/2020 followed by Mop up Day on 17/02/2020

to cover the children from 01 to 19 years and informed that, the coordination and

convergence of School Education department, Intermediate Education, Women &

Child Welfare depart, Tribal Welfare department, Municipal Administration

department and Panchayatraj department with Health and Family Welfare is

required for proper implementation of the programme.

All the R.J.Ds., D.E.Os & Addl Project Co-ordinators in the state are

instructed to involve all the managements working under their control i.e. Govt.,

ZP, Municipal, Aided, Mandal Parishad, Private to conduct the National De-

Worming Day 10/02/2020 followed by Mop up Day on 17/02/2020 to cover the

Children from 01 to 19 years age group and to follow the instructions issued by the

Health department. The tablets will be issued at free of cost by the Health

Department.

Further, they are requested to give wide publicity regarding the importance

of National De-worming day and also to co-ordinate with the Health department
