to the reference 2nd read above, wherein, the Government ofAndhra Pradesh, School Education Department

has informed that Swachhta Pakwada is going to be organized from September 1st to 1sth 2019 in every

district in the State to create publicity and awareness on'swachhta Pakwada 2019, ensuring nlaximum

participation of schools and Educational institutions and undertake activities such as special drive for

Cleanliness, Sanitation, Clean/Safe Water and hygiene and other related activities in school premises and

nearby areas with active involvement of students, teachers, parents, SMCs, Education Officials, local

representatives etc during the Swachhta Pakwada,2019 from 1st to 15th September, 2019 and instructed to

intimate action plan and uploading activities undertaken during Swachhata Pakhwada 2019 along with

detailed report on Shagun Portal,

In this context, the respective District CMOs, SSA in the State should ascertain the data on tolal

number of schools and students participated in the swachhatha pakhwada, day-wise activity from grrluncl

level along with Photographs, videos, films etc., together with highlights of each day of the Pakhwada and the

same should be submitted to this office through mail.lD swachhtapakwada20l9@gmail.com so as [o upload

the best videos, films & Photographs same in MHRD website.

Therefore, all the District project Officers and District Educational Officers in the state are requested

to launch Swachhata shapath day on 3'd September 201,9 and the two days schedule (1.'t and znd September

201,9) to cover on 3.d September 2079 due to public holidays and give necessary instructions to the

respective Mandal Educational Officers and respective School Head Masters in the State to ensurc

participation of students, teachers, parents, local people and representative etc., whole heartedly in the

Swachhata Pakhwada during 1st -15th September, 2019 and make the Swachhata Pakhwada programme

SuCCCSSfUI,

The budget may be met from the respective District Project office under District management Cost (DPO)

intervention to launch Swachhata Shapath day, conduction of essay writing, quize, painting and debate

competitions on swachatta and distribution of prizes for participation of children.
