The Commissioner and Director of School Education, A.P, Hyderabad, has issued instl'uctions in the

reference 1.t read above and observations were made by the District Educational Officer and oral

complaints received from the public it is observed that most of the teachers are not following dress code

while attending the school and are dressing by wearing Jeans pants, B Pockets/4 pockets pants, "T"Shirts,

Round Neck "T" shirts, flip flop shoes etc. Where in Women teachers are wearing different dress codes and

neglecting formal teaching profession dress i.e Saree. The dress should confirm to the professional

standards and teaching is a noble profession where the society Iook at a teacher for standards of living and

should be a role rnodel to students.

Further it is also brought to the notice that rampant use of cell phones in school hours/

instructional hours use of cell phone in class rooms and social media like whatsapp distracts the attention

of students and the student will emulate such habits from teachers and ivill affect the educational activities

and the students will not be able to pay attention in class room.

ln view of the above the District Educational Officer, West Godavari, Eluru hereby instructed

all the Head Masters and teachers in the District to fallaw the following guidelines without
