Continuing the AP Oil Fed to supply Red Gram Dal

I wish to inform that as per the orders of Government in the memo

1st cited, the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Oilseeds Growers Federation

Limited, Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada was entrusted the supply of Edible

Oil to Schools/ Children’s under Mid Day Meals Scheme for the year 2018-

19.

Further, in the reference 3rd cited, the Vice Chairman & Managing

Director, Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Oilseeds Growers Federation

Limited, Vijayawada has requested for allowing the AP Oil Fed. to continue

the supply of Edible Oil for the academic year 2019-20 and also informed

that the federation would meet the transportation & other charges. In the

letter 4th cited the General Manager, AP Oil Fed has also requested for the

same.

A detailed proposal for according permission to entrust the supply of

Refined Bleached Deodorized (RBD) Palm Oil to the Andhra Pradesh Co-

operative Oilseeds Growers Federation Limited, Vijayawada under Mid Day

Meal Scheme in the State for the academic year 2019-20. Orders of

Government are awaited in the matter.

Therefore, it is proposed to continue the Andhra Pradesh Co-

operative Oilseeds Growers Federation Limited to supply edible oil to the

schools under MDM scheme for a period of 2 months or until receipt of

Government orders, whichever is earlier.

It is informed that supply of edible oil need not be made for the

Centralised Kitchens, as they are permitted to procure the same at their

level.

In view of the above , the Managing Director Andhra Pradesh Co-

operative Oilseeds Growers Federation Limited, Vijayawada is requested

to continue the supply of edible Oil to the schools under MDM scheme

(except Centralised Kitchens) from August 2019.
