3. Requests from the Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Krishna, East

Godavari & Kurnool

All the Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are informed that in the

reference 2nd read above, instructions have been issued to admit the students in upgraded 140

KGBV Junior Colleges alongwith existing 31 KGBVs Jr. Colleges with KGBV students only as

per the existing priority i.e. orphans, semi-orphans, ST, SC, BC, Minority and BPL within the

District.

ln the reference 3'd read above, Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Krishna, East

Godavari and Kurnool have stated that many number of BPL and deprived group girls who

passed out SSC from ZP Schools, Government High Schools, A.P. Model School are

requesting for admission in KGBVs to continue their lntermediate education and requested to

permit them to take admissions in lnter KGBVs with needy girls. The same request is also

coming up from other District Project Officers and GCDOs.

Therefore, all the Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are permitted to

admit the students in KGBV Juniors colleges as per existing priority i.e. orphans, semi-orphans,

ST, SC, BC, Minority and BPL and also deprived group girls who passed out SSC from ZP

Schools, Government High Schools, A.P. Model Schools within the District.

ln view of the above, all the Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are

requested to obtain applications from the eligible students with wide publicity in their respective

districts for admission into KGBV junior colleges and also constitute a committee with the

following members to scrutinize the applications and allotment process.

1. GCDO, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Chairman

2. One Residential Junior College Principal (APSW, BCW, TW, and MW)

3. One Warden of SWBCWTW/MW Hostels (as suggested by the District CollectoQ.

4. Special Officer of the concerned KGBV Member convenor

The Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are requested to adhere to the

norms and guidelines issued from time to time by this office. Any deviation will be viewed
